Andy Pray, previously SVP Digital at Ruder Finn, has founded a new communications agency.

Andy Pray has left Ruder Finn, where he has been for more than 5 years, to start Praytell Strategy. He began working out of Ruder Finn’s San Francisco office and later moved to their NYC office to lead the consumer practice team. Then he led their digital strategy offering before finally heading to London to help spearhead their business from the UK.
Andy’s new firm is based in Brooklyn. He has a seasoned team that possesses design, tech and PR capabilities and is looking to hire. Praytell Strategy strives to have a strong foundation of work with the “good guys.”
Pray thinks his offering brings a unique point of view to the market thanks to his experience in leading programs across all categories of the communications landscape, from social to digital to PR to advertising. Andy said, "Few in the industry have as much hands on experience with A players and brands as I do, across the entire spectrum of services. The hope is I can draw on that experience and bring brands a perspective that is actually integrated, versus calling it integrated and then pulling in disparate agency P&L groups."
Andy started his PR career at Antenna Group and then moved to Waggener Edstrom. Before that, he served as a News Writer and Producer at CBS’ KPIX in San Francisco.
During his career at Ruder Finn, Andy’s key clients included MAC AIDS Fund, TiVo, Warner Brothers, Mountain Dew, PepsiCo, StubHub, and Sony VAIO.
