Thorold Barker is the WSJ’s Heard on the Street editor, based in New York. He relaunched the commentary and analysis column in 2008, after leaving the FT where he was US editor of the Lex Column. Thorold started his career as a management consultant at Bain & Co.

Liam Denning
Deputy Editor, Heard on the Street
Liam Denning is deputy editor for Heard on the Street. An expert on the energy industry and commodities markets, he joined the WSJ in 2008 from the FT, where he wrote for the Lex Column. Previously, Liam was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in London and a strategy consultant at KPMG.

David Reilly
Deputy Editor, Heard on the Street
David Reilly is deputy editor of the Heard on the Street column. He covers U.S. banks and the financial system for the column, as well as editing the paper’s Ahead of the Tape column. A journalist for more than 20 years, Dave has reported and edited for the Journal in Brussels, London and New York since 2000.
